Gaugy Gallery is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a unique small, high desert city in the mountains, over a mile above sea level. Its natural beauty, clear air and seclusion has attracted painters and writers for many generations. Claiming a population that numbers over 10% of its members as professionals in the arts and with almost 250 art galleries, it is an art lover’s paradise. The city also offers wonderful restaurants, a ski basin, hiking, plus a large scientific community spearheaded by the world-renowned Santa Fe Institute, the fascinating contributions of indigenous cultures and Old West history.

From its location off Canyon Road, the street with about 100 of the city’s 250 galleries, Gaugy Gallery regularly assists clients with art acquisition. We search for art in our inventory, or even cooperate with galleries as needed throughout the country, or individual artists we know worldwide. In addition, Michelle Gaugy, the owner, actively works with artists and galleries internationally to increase professionalism and problem-solve. She is the author of “Art Gallery, How to Do it Right”.
